I need to know about daily worship, pleaaaaseee!!Love from me,xxxx.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Most importantly, get up and chant God's Name before sunrise! For details, go to the Home Page of this website and read the various links. Basically a Sikh should rise before the coming of the light, take a "bath" (or shower" and recite Japji Sahib, then (if you want to be able to meditate most effectively) we who have learned it, practice Kundalini Yoga -- though this isn't required- but it does tune up your nervous system and balance your glands, and get you more able to sit for meditation) and then chant God's Name for an hour. (This can be one mantra, or a combination or sequence of many) Then go to Gurdwara to integrate your morning "sadhana" (spiritual practice) where you will sing shabds (words from the Shabd Guru, Siri Guru Granth Sahib set to music), hear or offer the traditional Ardas (prayer) and then receive daily guidance from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib as someone recited a passage from the sacred volum. Then Prasad is served, and then you're ready for your day. Later in the day you recite more "banis" (special prayers) and especially one before bedtime, called "Kirtan Sohila" Meanwhile, we try to remember God's Name throughout the busy hours of the day, keeping in mind that God is the Doer of all. I suggest you go to the Home Page on this website and follow various links to get more information in detail. Blessings, SP
