Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fathe.

Okay, I am 13 years old. I know much about Sikhism. The reason we keep our hair is for identity. The 5 K's tell us that. 1)Kesh(keeping hair) 2)Kanga(Used to keep hair clean) 3) Kara(A steel Braclet, form of knowin WHO you are) 4)Kirpan(to show we are warriors) 5)Keshara(the chains of god(kinda like boxers but more holy)). When you walk down the street with your dad(who suposeovely wears a turban) people will know YOU ARE A SIKH! The turban is our identity. It Shows Poeple who we are and what we represent. I know living in America screws your mind up, i know I was born here too. Stick with your culture, your religon,not the fact your friends think you look good with cut hair. Show People who you are, not the person who made you change. If your parents have cut hair, then YOU STAY WITH IT! Dont cut your hair. Guru Gobind Singh Ji Said Not To Cut Your Hair, JUST TO SHOW PEOPLE YOU ARE A SIKH!
