Roma Kaur | | Born & raised in Jaipur, Roma Kaur has gathered vast experience while traveling and working in different countries. Equipped with a Bachelors degree in English and a Master degree in French, she has a natural flair for languages. Roma is a renowned international speaker on women and cultural issues. Deeply involved in literary and cultural pursuits, she bagged the prestigious Golden Poet of USA Award in 1991 in New York. She has been hosting events as well as appearing on TV shows for many years. A former lecturer of French at Rajasthan University, Roma entered the field of journalism after her internship with the UN Chronicle at the U.N. Headquarters. She worked at OMNI TV in Toronto as Associate Producer and has also worked on some independent documentary projects. She is also the Editor-In-Chief of KAURS magazine. Roma Kaur joined channel m as the Producer & Director of Punjabi News in November 2006. |

Ash Singh | |
Ash Singh is a Canadian born, Hong Kong educated entrepreneur based in Singapore.
With a focus on new media he has started several successful companies and includes McDonald's and The United Nations in his portfolio of clients.
Ash is currently working on the Asian adaptation of hit reality television show The Contender.
In his free time, he serves as a motivational speaker to Sikh youth around the world on academic and financial success while following the Sikh lifestyle. He is 25 years old. |

Tej Singh Hazra | |
In July 2007, Tej Singh Hazra joined the IBM Corporate Diversity team to continue the mandate of infusing diversity, as a strategic business imperative, across the Canadian organization. Responsible for maintaining IBM’s accountability framework and management system, he is also IBM’s Employment Equity Officer. Tej also works to ensure the needs of constituency members across IBM’s Diversity Network groups are addressed.
As an ambassador for diversity, he leads IBM’s inclusion programs and leverages Global diversity initiatives where applicable.
Prior to joining IBM’s Human Resources organization, Tej was responsible for managing customer focused service delivery teams, providing leadership on complex client requirements combined with aggressive service level agreements.
Joining IBM Canada in April 1996, in the Business Continuity & Recovery Services organization, Tej was integral in launching the offering nationally and then proceeded to a 3 year Sales career focusing on the Small Medium Business marketplace.
One of his milestones includes the assignment to establish a National Canadian e-Hosting Service Delivery team and facility to deliver hosting services from strategically located data centers.
Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Tej graduated from The University of Huddersfield (UK) with an honors degree in Computer Aided Engineering. Tej immigrated to Canada with his wife in 1996 where he now lives raising their young son.
His passion for film and documentary lead to his role as Lead Film Researcher, Toronto Spinning Wheel Film Festival in 2005 and 2006. |

Roop Singh | |
For over 20 years Roop Singh has travelled the length and bredth of the UK visiting schools all over the country and has been visiting schools in Europe, New Zealand and America delivering talks to audiences of all ages and all races, explaining the thoughts, ideals and customs of the Sikh religion.
Starting out in 1984 Roop Singh told stories from the Sikh World to school children and has now captivated audiences at International Storytelling Festivals, Film Festivals and other public events Sikh and non-Sikh alike.
Roop Singh's workshops help pupils of all ages to understand other cultures and transform their own experiences into lively exciting stories. He also provides sessions in Sikh Awareness, Dance and Drama and INSET.

Harpreet Kaur | |
Harpreet Kaur graduated from Pennsylvania State University as a Communications major in 1999. She started her career off working as a reporter in the Washington D.C. area. Harpreet also produced a show with County Cable Montgomery, which she hosted and directed. In 2003, she started off working fulltime, in Sach Productions, to produce films focusing on pressing South Asian Issues.
Critics are calling Harpreet’s most recent award winning film, ‘The Widow Colony’, as the most poignant documentary to come out of India since Academy Award winner, Born in Brothels. Following the footsteps of Mira Nair, Harpreet's debut documentary has won awards from Toronto's Female Eye Film Festival to South Asian International Film Festival and continues to awe, educate and provoke audience on the issue of Justice for the women of the Sikh Massacre of November 1984.
Harpreet hopes that through her organization, Sach Productions, she can become the voice for the voiceless and forgotten.

Ish Amitoj Kaur | |
Ish is a Masters in Indian Theatre from Punjab University. A topper of the university, she later went on to work with NSD repertory company and then bagged a fellowship from The National School of Drama.
She worked as an assistant producer with Tara Punjabi and assisted in TV serials like ‘Joothi Kahin Ki’, ‘Zindagi Khoobsurat Hai’ and ‘Kisse Ek Hazaar’. Ish has also assisted in Films ‘Pinjar’ and ‘Asa Nu Maan Watna Da’. Ish later worked with an N.G.O, Literacy India where she practiced her theatrical skills in training the underprivileged kids in theatre who later got sponsorships to study in good schools on the basis of their performance. Ish carried on the legacy of ‘Education through theatre’ into her own community here in the U.S. Where she volunteers in Gurmat camps and has trained over 300 kids by now.
Later she directed two documentaries. Her first feature film ‘Kambdi Kalaai’ had its theatrical premiers in Sydney, UK, Toronto, India and California and also made it to a few film festivals. The film was the first ever film on Sikh Diaspora and touched the hearts of many Sikhs on various levels which had remained unexplored so far . What is notable is that it had a phenomenal DVD release reaching up to 15,000 homes worldwide, effecting the hearts of over 100,000 people. Fortified with the love of the community and dedication to the cause, Ish is ready to announce her next film, ’The Sixth River’. |
