SP's answer to the person who asked of the future of Sikhism, of the faith dying: "we shall be 960 million" has a ring of familiarity to me. Is this figure taken right from a scripture?

Guru Gobind Singh prophesied that 960 million we shall be. I wish I could say where that is recorded, but I cannot. I have heard it over and over from many sources, and I guess you could say it is part of our teaching. Since many of us live outside of India, we can understand it to mean worldwide.
