Your original attitude that all religions lead to the same God is totally a Sikh teaching. That is why the Guru often talks about the four doors of the Gurdwara being open to all directions and peoples. Who is blind? Many Sikhs are blind. In this day and age, we have to embrace and respect diversity. We are all God's children. As far as the Guru's having more than one wife...there is confilicting reports of this. We must not judge them according to our 21st Century culture and values. In many cultures in the past men had more than one wife because of the economics of the times or because children were needed to tend to the fields, etc, etc. We can't judge what was necessary for those times. As far as abortion, aliens and gay marriage, the Guru doesn't speak of these things. He does speak about compassion, kindness, unconditional love and consciousness. You have to evaluate your own consciousness to decide what is best for you. Blessings. GTKK
