Can Sikhism expand without being Sikhism? That's a better way to put it. Do we want to be a bunch of idiots who beleive whatever is convenient for the moment? There are plenty of religions that are already like that, why do we need another one? Everyone is free to change religion, I did to become a Sikh.
I would have one big problem right away. How would we tell people that God has made us in his image, with every hair, but it's OK for our ego to decide how much hair we will keep? How would we tell them that every hair on the body has a critical function but go ahead and be an idiot "cut it all off!"?
Maybe Sikhism would expand more, but it would just be a lot of weak people too afraid to live to their highest possibilities. Let other religions expand and have those people. Let's go for quality instead of quantity.
