Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

I was wondering what the boundaries are when doing paath. To get to university, I take an hour long bus ride. I want to start doing Japji Sahib regularly in the morning, so would it be alright to recite it on the bus? My head would not be covered, and my shoes would be on. Paath is better than no paath, right?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Sat Siri Akaal. Elsewhere on this Forum similar queries have been asked. The pressure of modern living have forced many of Sikhs to adapt, and the vibration of Gurbani still serves us wherever we are when we recite it.

However, I do not see why it is a problem for you to cover your head on the bus when you recite paath. I recommend you keep a headscarf or cap with you for this purpose.
Guru rakha,
