Can you please verify for me once and all what a Neeldharis, who are they. Where do they originate from. Because so many people have told me different things some people say their Sant is a Avtar of Guru Gobind SinghJi and Maha Vishnu.
So could you please tell me a simplified answer. I heard that they also wear blue belts what does that signify, and also Nihangs wear blue belts so are they Neeldharis or not.
thank you Very much

Sat Siri Akaal, ji.
Search this site using the word "Neeldhari" or "neeldhari." This question has been asked. They are a sect of Sikhi. Since we Moderators are not Neeldhari and don't know any Neeldharis, we are in a bad position to answer your questions specifically. I do know that Neeldharis are separate from Nihangs, however. Nihangs usually wear ALL blue, belt and kurta.
You could also go to an online encyclopedia and look them up for yourself. Try this site: http://www.eb.com/, which is the site for encyclopedia Britannica, a very thorough reference source.
Hope this helps.
