Summary of Question:Is There Any Contradictions In The Sggs?

Sat Sri Akal, my name is Gulzar.

I am just wondering if there are any contradictions in the Guru Granth Sahib. I believe all religions have some contradictions/errors. E.g. dates that are mixed up in the bible or Koran. So I was just wondering what things we are uncertain about in the Guru Granth Sahib or if they are any errors.

Thanks ;)

{REPLY} Sat Nam. Certainly scholars have pored over the sacred Words of Siri Guru Granth Sahib, and I'm certainly not a scholar! In my humble opinion, there are no "errors" -- for our Guru gives us the Words of Enlightened beings who spoke Truth. They spoke Truth because they had experienced Truth. they knew that God lived and breathed in them -- there was no separation. They knew and experienced that this life on Earth is a temporary situation. Any uncertainty that we may feel is because we lack that experience of divine union with the One God. We may not correctly understand their Words. I think Guru is to be experienced, not analyzed, that's just my humble opinion. Blessings, SP
