WJKK WJKF BHAN JI,

Reading your account brought sadness down upon me. The moderator was right, you are a woman and I think you handled yourself like a Guruji's daughter in the situation.

You know what they say about keeping in faith, I have noticed that this forum has many accounts from people saying they are losing faith because Guru Ji let them down.

Personally (and I know this may hypocritical because I am not suffering from this situation)I dont think Guru Ji would deliberately do anything to hurt you. Have you thought that may be Guru Ji chose the man to be your husband because he needs somebody like you? Guru Ji has great faith in you and to have a divorce would be like surrending and Guru Ji knows you wont do that, other wise why would he have chose you?

Theres an awful lot of divorce advice in this forum but there is always a solution to a problem. I know few people who has had worse problems than this (i wouldnt lie) and they solved it through simran and complete devotion through seva.

Life is not easy, it never is unless you devote yourself. Dont give up...life is like one big hurdle and I know you can jump over it!

(REPLY) Sat Nam. I think this is a lovely, supportive, and kind message. I don't recall what the original problem was in the marriage to which it refers, but as far as I'm concerned, a woman should never stay in a marriage where she is physically or mentally and emotionally abused. We are not slaves, and we need to assert our grace and strength and not be exploited by any man. Period! SP
