my question is is there a easier way to learn paat there japji sahib jaap sahib anad sahib and many more
can u please tell me a easier way to learn all the paat in eatch prayer book
and i cant read punjabi that well i can only read some letters
could plz answer my question oh and always am i disrespecting guruji by calling jaap sahib japji sahib etc.. prayer books??

If English is eaisier for you there are many nitnems with translitterations (the sounds of the Gurmukhi words written in English). I like the 'Psyche of the Soul', avalible at a-healing.com under books. Otherwise you can get a CD or tape of someone reading the Guru's banis (also at a-healing.com, as well as many other places, I'm sure) and read along with them to get the proper pronunciation. It took me a few years to learn these banis and I learn more of them everyday, so don't lose heart.
I don't think its particularly disrespectful to call these 'prayer books' but we do have the word 'Nitnem' in Gurmukhi to describe a book of 'banis'(prayers).
