WAHE GURU JI KA KHALSA WAHE GURU JI KI FATEH

First of all I would like to tell u that i have gone thru all the Q's and A's related to Non - veg but i am still unsatisfied.I would request u to pls answer my question..........
i am totally against the believe that in Rehat it is written that we can have jhatka meat and not hallal. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.How can the supreme God the great god allow us to have non veg.,i think we lack common sence when sikh say that its a god's cycle that one eats the other and if we don't eat animals the cycle will be unbalanced, they mean to say without humans God cannot keep a balance, one who has made us happen, one who is omnipresent needs our help to balance the world.Isnt that ignorence.

Secondly, sikh people say that where in Guru Granth Sahib is it written that sikh cannot have non veg....what a pity we have the living treasure with us as Guru Granth Sahib and we are not able to recognise and understand what God says pls tell me where are we heading towards.

U'll have to answer my question please thats a request I am 200% sure where there is religion non veg cannot be there. Its basically I am very clear on all grounds. What help I want from u is that take your time find out examples(if possible) and then give the answer which can change the thinking of many people.I need this favour favour from you b'cause I am not able to convince anyone and most of my sikh friends, relatives, neighbours argue with me on these silly Q's.

I would realy appreciate if u could answer this question in detail as it will be circulated to many-many people from my side. And I will come up with some more questions later.

Thanks a Ton

(REPLY)

There's and old saying, "Man convinced against his will, is unconvinced still." I don't think you will ever convince anyone until and unless that person's own consciousness reaches the awareness of the necessity for a vegetarian diet. I'll leave it to others, who may possibly have some intellectual answer for you, but as far as I'm concerned, I would not argue with anyone. People will find reasons to do what they want to do, and justify it, even when we know better. God "allows" people to make fools of themselves and to stray off the path of righteousness, because we each have the divine power of choice. Common sense, from a purely physical health point of view tells us that whereas lions and tigers and other carnivorous animals have fangs and claws and a short digestive tract which enables them to quickly digest the food they kill and eat, human beings do not have these things. We were not designed to eat flesh, but we are adaptable, and so some people do eat meat -- which leaves a residue of uric acid in the blood stream which is known to cause cancer. Not to mention the adrenalin which the animal secretes in fear before it is slaughtered, and then we eat that poison! But just as people smoke and drink because it satisfies their senses, though it destroys their health, similarly people will eat what they want. Guruka langar as you know, is always vegetarian, and that should tell these people something. But I doubt if it will change anybody's mind. Guru tells us not to argue with a fool. (I wish I could quote you the page where I read that, but I know I saw it!)It's a waste of time. Just follow your own conscience, and pray for others to understand what is right action. Anyway, I'll look forward to seeing if anyone else has a better reply.

Blessings. SP
