Why do white American Sikhs falsely claim that Pranayam and yogic practices were practised by the Sikh Gurus and that Yoga is the way to be "better Sikh all round"(when the Guru Granth Sahib doesn't say that anywhere)?

Wahe Guru Ji ka Khalsa
Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh!

What an odd concept. . . "white American Sikhs."

Either one is a Sikh of the Guru, or one is not a Sikh of the Guru. Otherwise there is no distinction between one Sikh and another. Do you feel that there is such a distinction? Why? Has our Guru told us to distinguish a Sikh by his place or birth or the color of his skin?

I have never heard that yoga "makes one a better Sikh." What an odd idea. I am wondering from whence these odd ideas have come? Has someone told you these things? They are, of course, not true.
