WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
KHALSA JI, I AM AN AMRIT DHARI SIKH. I AM FACING SOME PROBLEM WEARING THE KIRPAN. I GO TO GYM FOR EXERCISE BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT DUE TO WERAING KIRPAN WHOSE GATRA IS PASSING FROM RIGHT(HAND SIDE) PART OF MY CHEST , THIS PART HAS BEEN PUSHED INWARDS WHILE THE LEFT PART OF MY CHEST HAS DEVELOPED DUE TO EXERCISE. SO, AN IMBALNACE HAS BEEN CREATED.SHOULD I LEAVE EXERCISE? WHAT I SHOULD DO, PLZ GUIDE ME REGARDING THIS? CAN I WEAR A KIRPAN WITHOUT A " GATRA "?
I WOULD XPCT A HELPFUL REPLY FROM YOUR SIDE. THANK YOU.

Sat nam. You should not imbalance your body in this way, it can set you up for physical problems later. I recommend finding yourself a very small kirpan--whether sharp or not--and figuring out a way to wear it in your patka or in your shoe, only for this purpose. Or get those 1-inch symbolic kirpans that you can wear on a string and put it around your neck. That's what I do for airport security, no reason you couldn't do it for sports.
