Summary of Question: | Living Guru |

I have read many parts of GGS and many other spiritualy focused texts and believe not only learning from these texts but also learning by example from a living Guru. It seems that the whole GGS is dedicated to Guru worship and I dont see any conflict in worship of a Guru if his teachings are pure and stand up to the standards put forth by Sants and Gurus of the past. Yet some have told me I cant be Sikh for this reason. What do you think?

Sat nam. Why are you asking us? If you believe in Siri Guru, it doesn't matter what ANYONE else thinks. It's about your relationship to Guru and to the purity of the teachings, not your relationship with those who question or deride that which they don't or can't or won't understand. Guru ang sang,
