Summary of Question:Why Cant I Find A Decent Girl?
Category:Love & Marriage
Date Posted:Tuesday, 2/13/2001 12:51 PM MST

Im a very respectable sikh guy with very high morales as in i dont date or do anything bad, ie smoke, sleep around etc.

Im sort of approaching that age when marriage does come to the forefront of my mind and im worried by the fact that i havent met any girls who share the same views and have the the same sort of strong morales as i do-as in im religous etc. Will i ever find this person myself who do you think my parents will find someone for me?I'd rather find someone myself as then i'd know if the person was genuinely decent or not.Im really confused?
Greetings to you in the Name of God the light of every soul and in the Name of Guru the life of every Sikh.

Dear one, please have faith that the Creator who turns this earth and causes the sun to rise and set each day can also take care of your affairs.

The doubt that you feel is the monkey in your mind that is robbing your experience of 'truth'. You are living a graceful life and you are a graceful man. Expect that there is a graceful and wonderful woman for you too. How and when she will come to you is in the hands of the 'Doer'.

There is a very beautiful shabd that you can recite daily for attracting your true spouse. Let go of your doubt and your insecurity and give yourself to your faith and devotion of God and Guru. You can recite this Shabd 11x daily for 40 days or more.

Mangala Saaj Bha-i-aa Prabh apanaa ga-e-aa Raam. It is on page 845 of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib or page 598 in the Amrit Kirtan book. It is also recorded on CD available from on the "Shabd Vol. I CD.

Relax, rejoice and enjoy! God bless you.
