Summary of Question:	Muslim Boys And Sikh Girls

Hi,

I dont know if you have heard or not but a muslim production company is making a film (called larkee punjabin) on how easy it is to convert sikh girls into islam. What i wanted to ask you was if this is true then how can you support sikh girls with having a relationship with muslim boys? All us sikh's know that our Guru Gobind Singh Ji sacrificed a lot of things to save sikhism and muslims did'nt want it to go ahead. Dont sikh girls in nowadays see the logic here? If this carries on sikhism will probably die out and what answer would we give to the almighty Guru? I love my religion, and will kill anyone who doesnt agree with this. I just wanted your opinion on this?

The path of the Sikh begins with the tolerance of Guru Nanak who saw God's light in all people and heard God's praises being sung in all traditions. Guru Nanak began with, "There is no Hindu. There is no Muslim." These walls we build between each other through religion are false. We are all brothers and sisters under the same Divine Source of Creation. History has caused the Sikh to stray from that ideal and say, "We aren't Hindu and we aren't Muslim." But if you cannot see the God in the Islamic tradition and in Muslims, then you are not seeing the world through your Guru's eyes. Intolerance, anger, hatred and the willingness to kill another person out of those emotions are not the Khalsa warrior spirit. Tolerance, compassion, understanding and the willingness to defend those who cannot defend themselves - that is the spirit of the Khalsa warrior. So your anger blocks you from being what your Guru is calling you to be.

Do not judge others. Neither judge those Sikh girls who date Muslim men nor the actions of film makers. Everything that happens is the Will of God and the Guru instructs us to accept it all in contentment. The future of Sikhi is in the hands of the Guru. There's nothing to worry about. Focus on yourself, on your own practice, on growing in your own consciousness and understanding and living your destiny. That way, you will serve the Panth and the Guru excellently.
