I have a question regarding sukhmani sahib padth. I am wanting to do 51 padths of sukhmani sahib, but the problem is that I still dont have it down. I still am learning how to do the padth. It takes me 3 hrs to do the whole padth, so I split it up into two days to make it a bit easier. Is this okay? Can I continue to do this until I feel like I can do it easily in about 2hrs? There isn't anything wrong in doing it this way right?
I read one of posts (11/16/2005)earlier about a young man doing 51 padths to clear a major obstacle in his life (DAT) and I am in the same kind of situation. So is 51 the number?
Thank you so much in advance for your help in this matter. I appreciate it very much.

Sat nam. It is best to do the whole thing at once, but better some than none if you cannot. 40 days is usually the minimum number needed to effect changes via a meditative or bani practice. Or 90 or 1000. Aim for 40 and then see how you feel. You might find that you cannot have a day without Sukhmani.
PS: Have you tried reciting along with a recording? Ragi Sat Nam Singh made one (some years ago), it's on CD. There are others as well.
