I have known a mumber of people who have had a rough life and tend to fall off track and loose faith in god. The fact that you havent is commenable alone.
I too grew up oblivious of my fathers love. I had it as a small child but lost it at the times when i needed it the most.
My life has showed me that most men/woman love their children but are uncapable of showing it, Especially indian men of the older generation.
Stand by your father as you are all he has, Stand by your sister as the struggles she has faced have made her suffer enough.
The one thing that sticks in my mind whenever my faith in human nature begins to flag, is thatevery rough experiance makes us wiser and gives us strength.
Maybe your father was unable to fulfill his duties but you should do your best to fulfill your duties as his daughter and as a sister.
Many people fall on the wrong path and inflict pain but that doesnt mean they dont deserve our love (even though we are sometimes reluctant to give it).
Your sister is angry because she is hurting, but she will overcome her pain as i once did. The relationship between a girl and her father is very important as it shapes our outlook on men, and things that our left undone/unsaid will be deeply regretted when its too late.
It always takes something so serious to help us be thankful for what we have - there are many people who are less fortunate than us
Keep your head up and dont let your smile fade.
Your story truely touched me
I wish you the all the best - From the bottom of my heart
Kind regards
