Gur Fathe!

Why are the panj payare always men? How come when a woman takes amrit on visakhi.. she cannot be one of the Panj Payare?

Daisy Kaur Ji - In my experience, this is not true. I have been to many Amrit Parchar where some of the Panj Piyare are women. I know that in India, the Panj is usually made up of men, it is a cultural thing, but that is NOT required. A woman can definitely be one of the Panj Piyare.

Khalsa knows no gender. Khalsa is Khalsa!
