Could you please tell me who compiled the asa di vaar, this is a question I cannot seem to find the answer to. Thank you very much

Sat nam. Asa Di Var is a compilation of shabds by the Gurus who preceeded 5th Guru Arjan. Guru Arjan compiled the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, including assigning the rag style to each shabd. Guru Arjan, therefore, compiled Asa Di Var as it is now known. I am surprised your gyani or bhai sahib at your gurdwara could not answer this question.
