Summary of Question:	Info On Sikhs And Khalistan?

I have read alot into this site on the issues of Khalistan, and I feel that the sikh panth itself is very divided on the issue. Myself I am very confused.
After reading a special Q and A,on this same topic...
Question by Karandeep Kaur and then the reply by Gurumeet Kaur Khalsa it made me think very deeply.
My questions are.. how is the current state of people (human rights) non-sikhs as well as sikhs in the punjab? I mean is it the same as it was in 1984?
And what is the Anandpur Reslotion?, and is it being applied today? What is the political state of punjab? And what are with these political parties.. like the Akali Dal etc? Let's say a revolution began for Khalistan or an independent state in India, how many sikhs would support it? Would it go through?
I am thirsting for these answers.. Please forgive me if I have made any mistakes (if these questions have been already answered before)

This site and its moderators are not able to answer your questions. They are all good questions. I can tell you that indeed the Sikh panth worldwide is divided on the issue of Khalistan. I know that there are Sikhs in Punjab who feel their human rights are always in jeopardy, and others who think they are not. None of the current moderators live in Punjab, so we do not have the pulse of the state there.

I think that you could get a lot of your answers by searching the web. You will find plenty on Khalistan, and the websites in support of Khalistan will give you one view. You will probably find sites NOT supporting Khalistan as well. ALSO, for a look at Punjabi feelings, perhaps searching the Web versions of Indian and Punjabi newspapers would help. Start here for your search: http://www.sikhseek.com. Also, there is some other post/reply on this Youth Forum that lists a Khalistani website. So search the Forum using keyword 'Khalistan' and you should find it. Good luck.
