(REPLY) Sat Nam. You ask, "What is Love?" But what you are describing is not love at all. It is the natural phenomenon of attraction between sexes. This desire to "mate" is built into the glands and the psyche of men and women, and it's sort of a physical manifestation of the inner need for each of us to feel complete -- and experience the Divine union which ultimately happens when we unite our individual soul with the universal Self. Love and lust are two different things. Love is caring more for the other person's happiness than for your own. Love is the willingness to sacrifice for the other. Girls and guys usually are motivated also by the ego, which wants to prove they are desirable and can attract a boyfriend or girlfriend! Another reason for this constant seeking for a mate is that Mother Nature wants to propogate the species! A happy marriage is a wonderful thing, and I hope someday you will have that blessings, if it is God's will. Meanwhile, get acquainted with your own soul-mate, the one that lives and breathes in you! Blessings, SP
