i was wondering if two people of the same caste could marry each other if they have the same surname? is it possible and if no why not?

Many of us have taken on the surname Khalsa - pure one. There are so many Khalsas, its kind of funny. My son who has had the name Khalsa his whole life, married a girl who also had the surname Khalsa her whole life. What's wrong with that? It makes things pretty simple, hugh? GTKK
