Can a khalsa use a cap in school ? because in my school i saw sukhraj a forth grader using a cap he is khalsa he some times use pathka or cap . I told him cap not allowed he said its allowed Is Cap allowed to amrit people Thanku Gurkirpal Gill

Sat Siri Akaal. Caps are NOT allowed if one has been baptized as Amritdhari. Otherwise, caps are quite disapproved for keshdhari Sikhs of any age. Search 'hat' under the keyword search on the Youth Forum for additional information.

In the case of the 4th grader, I recommend you politely inform him in a casual way that patka is fine, but caps are not Sikh. A 4th grader doesn't necessarily know better, you know?
