Summary of Question:A Paradox I Have Been Trying To Answer About Individual Effort Vs God's Will.

Hello, I've been dealing with a paradox for the last month and been trying to find an answer.

I am a firm believer that everything occurs, exists, with God's will. Without the will i cannot breathe, live, or have ever been.

I can't do anything unless it is according to God's will.

The problem lies in when I think of things like: "I should try hard to study" "i should work hard to do this" I can get confused when I also think "If God doesn't want me to do that then I cannot do that, I cannot accomplish it" It confuses me to no end, it makes me feel like its a cop out. I love hard work, I live for the grind and to give my all, but I am prone to my lazy days as well and this conflict of understanding gets me on those days.

Thank you for any insight.
