Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
dear brother/sister GTKK
I just read your reply to a question about the Kesri color and 5 Ks at http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/youth.nsf/by+Date/160b6960798ab94a87256a71004c26d7?Open
As am I am not a moderator of this board I cannot reply to any question made here. I just wanted to add something and correct a bit of your answer. Firstly, orange color was not given to Sikhs by Sahib Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Sahib Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was the one who introduced this color to Sikhs. It was first used in the flags of Laskar of Guru Sahib ji. Orange (kesri) color stands for danger. The other colors of Sikh reyhat maryada as set by Damdami taksal are blue, black and white. Sikhs are not supposed to wear red and the muglish green color.
Bhulla chuka di khima. May Waheguru keep up all in rising spirits.
Akal!
