i'm afraid that i don't agree with you people. if everyone in the community can agree on taking langar on chairs, isn't that equality between the sangat as well? don't you think that there is a greater problem of a lack of equality when the sangat gets divided between those who sit on chairs and those who sit on the floor? how does that serve the purpose of equality?

Reply: I think where we are presantly is to follow the Hukamnamma of the Akal Takhat in the ruling to not use chairs in the langar.
