don't worry yourself, there are plenty of Sikhs in De Montfort Uni. I know of many myself. To make friends,just be yourself, don't prejudice between people and they won't to you. Make friends with everyone Sikh or not. As you're in Uni, focus on work, but there will be people in the same position as you, who are new there, so relax, and take one day at a time
