    Dastar Mini-Marathon
    TIDE OF PRIDE

Dastaar bakhshdi rooh di paatshaahi, Jalwaa is wich shahaan de taaj da ae

Dastaar is an inseparable part of a Sikh’s attire. A Sikh living and working in any corner of the world, due to his Dastaar is seen as a family member of the lineage of his Guru’s. In order to show to the world how important our Dastaar is to us, Akaal Purkh Ki Fauj is organizing “Dastaar Mini Marathon” on the Sikh Dastaar Divas i.e. on 13-4-08. This Marathon will commence fom Bhai Vir Singh Hall and while passing through Lawrence road, Madan Mohan Malviya road, Crystal Chowk, Hall Bazaar, Town hall. Dharam Singh Market, Clock tower Chowk etc will be concluded at Sri Darbaar Sahib, Amritsar.

In this Mini Marathon a host of important personalities will take part. To name a few, Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji, Giani Kewal Singh JI, Prof. Manjit Singh ji, S. Bikram Jit Singh Majithia, S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, S. Gulzaar Singh Ranike, etc. In addition to these, Doctors, Lawyers, educationists, and Sikhs from various other fields will be present.

We are expecting about thousand participants to run in this event. Your esteemed presence in this Mini marathon will give out a clear message to every community as to what place our turban holds for us. It will prove world wide that our ancestors chose to get their limbs cut but never lost this gift of the Guru’s. We will show that even today our hearts beat for this crown. It is compulsory for a sikh to tie his turban every day but, even those who for what ever reason have done away with their identity are welcome to join this caravan. We are sure this will re instill their love towards their Turban. We have to join hands to show to the world that we stand together when it comes to the Dastaar.
Our main aim of the Sikh dastaar divas is to see to it that all that have gone astray to the teachings of their Guru’s are welcome to join us and feel proud of being members of a bigger brotherhood.

On this occasion, S. Jaswinder Singh Advocate requests as many of you to come be a part to this event and represent Akaal Purkh ki Fauj.

Come let us all flow free in this huge tide of pride.
